LASIK Surgery Chain in Florida Goes Bankrupt
South Florida Business Journal - by Paul Brinkmann Vision Care Holdings, operator 30 Lasik surgery clinics, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Thursday. The Lake Worth-based company said it has between $50 million and $100 million in debt, and less than $10 million in assets. The company’s once operated more than 90 optical service stores in 30 states, including Vision Care, Eyeglass World and Lasik Institute locations.
